I can give you an elegant, expensive looking cake, even if you are on a Twinkie budget. As a woman, I know how exciting it is to find something your friends admire and swoon over. And it so much sweeter when you know what a steal you got it for. And, as a professional, I certainly know the difference between inexpensive and cheap!

Not only do I offer great cakes, but I also have something a lot of the bigger bakeries don't have. Personality and personalization. One thing that I am always hearing from clients is "Thank you for making it so easy and fun." I try to make the process as painless as possible. I know how stressful it can be to plan an event. Let me give you a little background information on myself. My name is Rachel Boehm and my company was established in 1999 and has been responsible for providing beautiful, delicious cakes and outstanding service ever since. My specialty is buttercream iced wedding and party cakes. My regular customers particularly value the ability to order on short notice. In September of 2006, I had the pleasure of brightening the day of some very special youngsters. I went to the Ligget Trail Educational Center in Blue Springs and took cakes for an Early Childhood Education class to decorate. All of these kids have special needs in one way or anoher, and they all had a blast! It was so much fun and I hope to be able to do it again one day. These kids loved the texture and colors of the icing, being able to squeeze it out and the sprinkles were fun for them. They enjoyed being creative, but they best part was eating their creation!

There were 8 kids in the class, 4 adults and one table. It really wasn't very messy but we did have to do a lot of hand washing.

After the kids "ate" their creations. It was a bit much for them to consume, but it didn't stop them from trying.
